How to write

“If you wish to be a writer, write.”

Epictetus

First, find the inspiration. It usually helps me when I’m sad, or when I have some other strong feeling. Without inspiration, don’t write. It’s useless. Leave it for another day. It’ll be better.

Then, get a pile of paper. Draw to help you, or just write your feelings. You don’t have to use the whole pile. Make sure you have a sharp pencil, or a pen that works. The desk should be without distraccion, and good illumination is necessary. Maybe listen to some music to motivate the feeling.

After you finish reread what you’ve written, and put it away. Take it out a few weeks later and see how you’ve done. Good luck!
