Alone once more.

Here’s  one of my poems… not sure if it ryhms ok though!

ALONE ONCE MORE

Mist hangs over the land,

I stretch out my hand,

Hoping to touch anything,

But I hear a maiden sing.

The land is bare,

So who is there?

I step lightly onward,

Should I play my card?

The mist clears,

But not my fears.

Should I turn round?

I could do it without a sound.

But then she turns around,

And at last my heart is found.

But she is afraid,

She calls for her maid.

She starts to run,

Maybe thinking I’ve got a gun.

I tell her to stop,

But that she does not.

I drop on the ground,

Feeling terribly down.

A tear falls on my glove,

For I’ve just lost my true love.
